DIGITAL MARKETING CONSULTANT, Purple Phone PR & Marketing (2008 – present)

· Saved “Punch Drunk Gamer,” a funded startup client, $15k by providing strategic consulting which helped them further identify their target audience and online/media needs before contracting with a development company.

· Planned and implemented digital marketing campaign for Kim Crenshaw Photography, including blog, website updates, Facebook page management and email newsletters that resulted in 60% increase in business.

· Developed on-boarding process for Futures, Inc., a startup that is working to help large employers build community around their specific industries

· Authored Abundance: Earn it Through Audience, a text about social media marketing and how it can be used as a viral marketing tool.

· Successfully designed Blog Joggers®, a writer’s block buster for businesses that blog, and launched the product, resulting in industry-wide media coverage and first year profit.

· Leveraged both coaching and consulting skills to develop marketing plans for a variety of startup to mid-sized companies, across a variety of industries. Offered hands-on support in achieving these goals, such as press release/article/blog writing and distribution, social media education, scheduling and planning.

BUSINESS COACH, RLM Coaching (2004 – 2008)

· Coached diverse clientele: formulated action plans to forward their business goals. Aided clients in implementing marketing plans and organizational systems to support their progress towards goals.

· Podcast personality. Contributed weekly segments related to personal growth and development as the Resident Life Coach for Army Wife Talk Radio, requiring continuing awareness of audience needs and interests, topic research and expert input and interviews.

· Implemented and maintained Mambo content management system to provide content addressing personal and business goal setting.

· Developed email marketing campaigns via Constant Contact, in support of Synergy Strategies, a business coaching organization.

· Delivered training and motivational speeches to audiences ranging in size from 5 to 100 on topics related to goal setting, time management, organization, and press release writing.

· Authored and ghost-wrote dozens of articles, press releases, speeches, blog entries, and radio segments across several industries: technology, coaching & personal development, retail, and marketing. · Authored press releases and developed public relations materials for small business clients. Successes include client receiving personal response from Jay Leno, of The Tonight Show, and boosting client’s holiday sales by 50%.

· Content Manager for Binary Press website. User-generated content site that focused on supporting the small business owner. Topics included operations, technology, and administrative processes.

· Translated technical, process, and planning terminology and concepts into layman’s language so that it was clearly understood by and accurate for all stakeholders. Provided regular reporting on project status to corporate clients. Ensured clients needs were met and that the project was delivered on time and within budget.
